Educational Program

FSCI is Active in various programs promoting social responsibility, supported by majority of its employees. Led by its Community Relations Committee, the company has assisted various government & non-government programs and put corporate volunteerism into concrete action. FSCI patented Daop Palad as the company's center for social responsibility undertakings. Daop Palad was first launched in 2001 during the company's 5th Anniversary celebration. Adhering to the "Charity begins at home" philosophy, the Company identified Cabuyao as its key community beneficiary since the Company is located in the said municipality. All major community outreach activities are centered within the area.

In thanksgiving for its 5th anniversary, First Sumiden Circuits, Inc. shared its blessings by organizing a Medical Mission among its neighbors in Cabuyao, Laguna in April 2001. Barrio Butong was chosen as the site of the mission, being among the indigent areas of the municipality. Through the effort of its employees, the project was able to provide relief goods, medical and dental aid to 400 families. Sustaining the spirit of social responsibility, Daop Palad was again put into action. The company repeated its gift-giving mission and brought joy to 200 Cabuyao Day Care students in December 2001. The employees organized a Christmas Party which began with a simple program where Day Care kids ages 4 and 5, displayed their talents in singing, dancing and even in oratory.

Daop Palad on its 3rd mission turned over the Gift of Knowledge to the students of Cabuyao public elementary and high schools. The company solicited donations from its employees and suppliers to finance cabling, installation of TV sets, and hook up of Cabuyao public schools to Knowledge Channel. Knowledge Channel is an educational cable TV channel. Its programs are based on the curriculum of the Department of Education to supplement elementary and high school public education in order to increase students' competencies in Math, Science and English.

FSCI is also involved in other social responsibility undertakings such as blood letting, tree-planting and livelihood projects for its community.
